Ingredients

• 2 oz Nine Banded Straight Bourbon
• ½ oz Simple syrup
• ¾ oz Lemon juice
• 2 Strawberries (hulled)
• 2-3 Dashes Angostura bitters
• 3 oz Ginger beer
• Extra lemon twist, mint and strawberry for garnish

Instructions

• In a cocktail shaker, gently muddle the strawberries and simple syrup
• Add bourbon, bitters, juice, and ice
• Shake until outside of shaker gets frosty
• Strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice, top with ginger beer
• Garnish with lemon twist, strawberry, and fresh mint
• Enjoy!

For syrup:

• ½ c sugar
• ½ c water
• In a small sauce pot bring all ingredients to a simmer, set aside to let cool
